Kathleen Kavanagh '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Kathleen Kavanagh. I am 5'4 and weigh 125. I will graduate from Marian High School in May of 2012. Growing up I have played basketball, soccer, and softball and have excelled in them all. However my dream is to play basketball in college. If given the opportunity I am confident I will excel at the college
level because I am willing to commit myself to improving as an athlete and a person. During my high school career I have been honored with awards such as: All-Conference 2nd Team, Defensive Player (twice), Most Improved (twice), and MVP. With a lack of veteran players on my high school team, I embraced the
leadership role and became the Team Captain my junior year. I am open to any size school preferably within 5 hours of Mishawaka, IN. I am still undecided on a college major. Being a college basketball player my goals would be to reach my full basketball potential, I know my basketball skills can be further developed to improve my game and my knowledge for the game. Secondly, I want to have an impact on the success of a team, to recognize my roll on the team and do it to the best of my ability.
