Brittney Thibeaux '14 Recruiting Profile

My dreams basically stem from my support system which includes my family, my church, my community and basketball.  My parents have always challenged me and my siblings to strive to be the very best we can be at whatever we decide to do.  I factor the desire I have to play at the next level to my entire support system.  My goal is to earn a sports scholarship and become a role model for my younger sister and brother to show them that they can indeed follow their dreams just as I have done.  My aspirations definitely comes from me growing up in a family where my Dad is a Master Chief in the Navy and my Mom a Pastor of the church.  I have had the best of both worlds.  Being able to see them both achieve such high achievements in life has been the aspiration for both me and my siblings.  Also being able to live in Japan for 6 1/2 yrs and returning to the states when I was a preteen was an awesome experience.  In addition, getting that great support system from the youth ministery and the church family has made me a better person.
