I just finished a successful freshman year at Utah State University. I played 31 of 32 games as a forward, and started 9 of those games. The first 8 starts were consecutive wins that tied a school record. We finished 2nd in WAC, and the team is nationally ranked second in FT%. My average playing time is 11.9 min, fg% .484, ft% .667, and I averaged 2.4 rebounds.
Offensively, I have a good pick and roll, set good screens and very quick for my size. I am just as capable of putting up a basket with my left hand as my right. Other strong attributes, not recorded on paper is my ability to keep opposing teams' top players from scoring. Coach Finkbeiner said I was an 'unsung hero'. I am athletic, very coachable, and I learn quickly.
Coach Reagan Peebly originally recruited me for Utah State out of high school, but she moved on to Fresno State just a month before I was to start working with the team. Coach Jerry Finkbeiner then took over as head coach for Utah State. I have been released by Utah State and was informed that I didn't fit their vision of the future for WBB with USU.
I am very anxious to keep playing basketball, and am seeking a new place to continue to be a passionate, strong, productive player, who plays with heart.
