I began my basketball journey when I was seven years old. As the years went on the sport became very natural to me and I developed a passion for it. Basketball has helped me become the person I am today by pushing me beyond my limits and helping me become a better person physically and mentally. Basketball also taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership. My academic goals going into my senior year is becoming Valedictorian and upholding my JROTC and student government responsibilities. By the end of my senior year, I would like to further my basketball career at the collegiate level while continuing my education. I want to study in Kinesiology or child development. I am the type of person who is determined to accomplish their academic and athletic goals. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, and the school I attend.
