Nicole King '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole King and I am a student-athlete at Armstrong State; A highly competitive University in Savannah GA that made it to Sweet Sixteen NCAA D-2 Tournament last year.  I play the 4/5 positions but am currently a red shirt freshman.  I am a high caliber player who can power drive to the basket. I am a strong rebounder and can handle the ball the full length of the court. I have a high percentage 15-20 ft. jump shot and can play and defend the middle as well as the perimeter.

During High School, I was a 4 year varsity basketball player as well as a varsity volleyball player. Our basketball team had three regional championships, two visits to the sweet sixteen rounds and one visit to the Elite Eight rounds in states. I was awarded to the Georgia Athletic Coach’s Association (GACA) All Star Showcase Team, I have had multiple All Region Honors and was selected to All North Fulton Second Team.

I am looking to transfer to a junior college that has high academic standards and a solid competitive basketball program that will allow me to build my athletic resume so that I may reach my goal of playing at the Division 1 level.

After a successful collegiate career and with a business degree in hand, I will continue my studies at the graduate level and pursue my passion to become an entrepreneur and build a business.  I also plan to contribute and stay involved in my community.
