I would love to be able to attend college and play a sport. My mom and dad have had a big influence on me and my involvement in athletics.I have learned that I am a competitor and very passionate in everything I do, which crosses over into the classroom. I have maintained no lower then a 3.6 GPA all throughout high school. I hope to achieve great academic success in college, and continue to be involved in other activities besides sports.
I have had to overcome position changes, role changes, and major tests of leadership in my years of playing basketball. My first year on varsity in 7th grade I was the youngest on the team. I did not get a lot of playing time, but I still got the same state championship ring as my teammates at the end of the season. This experience taught me how to be a team player and learn that motivating the people around you is a key to being apart of a team. I am excited to see what life has to offer me down the road and I am open to change and new opportunities!
