Chase Nacsin '14 Recruiting Profile

 
My name is Chase Nacsin and I am a Senior at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California. I am currently researching colleges to attend in the Fall of 2014. I am looking for schools that are the right fit both academically and athletically for me. I would like to be considered for a position on your basketball team.
 
For the past two seasons, I have started at guard for the Cajon Cowgirls. Last year's team(2011/2012) won 23 games and reached the second round of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section(CIF-SS) Division IAA Playoffs. This year's squad(2012/2013) won 27 straight games and won the Citrus Belt League before losing in the Quarter Finals. During this season I averaged 10.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 1.7 assists. I know these numbers don't jump off the page at you, but you must consider the talent on our team. As a team, we lead the nation in scoring and the State of California in rebounding for most of the year. We accomplished this great season with only one Senior on the roster!  As you can guess, the Cowgirls have huge expectations for the upcoming 2013/2014 season and you can follow our run for the state championship as well as keep track of my stats via maxpreps.com. 
 
Educationally, I have an overall GPA of 3.67. I want to Major in Sport Management or Athletic Training. My parents have always emphasized the importance of education and I have always known a commitment to basketball also means a commitment to education. I am considered a team player and very coachable. I think I would be an outstanding asset to you and your team.
