My college aspirations are to attend the school of my dreams, set myself up for life and to be constantly challenged. I want to live by being successful in school, while playing a sport that I love. I don't just want to attend a school I want to make a difference where ever I go, leaving a legacy behind me. Things that make me a good candidate are my leadership skills, my will to never give up, my loyalty, my fellowship, hard work and being very coach able. I am willing to try anything and everything I am asked. I firmly belive that if my team is winning or could be loosing by 40, I will still give my 100% until that the clock hits 0:00. In 2015 was incredible year for me. Being part of the 2015 Nike EYBL Team National Chaimpions Cal-Stars, we won a national title and had a 67-1 season. Coming off this season it allowed me the oppertunity to get a 6 month Scholarship to go and tain and practice as a starter in colloge. With research we believe that I am the 2nd in women basketball history to achieve. To accomplish this I would have to complete 6 months of the remaining high school year in 2 months taking online courses along with my regular AP classes I was taking at the time. I am proud to say I completed the Challenge. I believe I am one of the best 2016 recruits and very unique. As a 2016 recruit I will be coming stronger, disciplined and already adjusted to colloge life. Playing at Freedom High School I had been a captain my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior year on the Varsity team. 2014-201. I played on U15 Cal-Stars Elite team and 2015 will played on the top team Cal-Stars Elite. I have grown, learned and gained respect from each team. Over the years I have bought into and believe in the word TEAM, whether it is boxing out, blocking a shot, rebounding ball or giving up the extra pass just to help a teammate score, cheering the girls to keep spirits high, to the team bonding we do frequently. In academics I recently finished my first semister with all A's and one B. In colloge. I have always taken classes one year above my grade level, challenging myself, just to better myself. I have earned the Distinguished Scholastic Team Award 2013, 2014 and 2015, Freedom High Sportsmanship Award 2014 and 2015 & BVAL First Team. By being in leadership and a big supporter/ member of Unified Sports Special Olympics I have gained great public speaking skills and can easily interact with people. I am not shy and put myself out there even in situations I am not familiar with. I will take every opportunity given to me, whether I fail or not, I tried. I believe heart, hard work, good will and family have and will continue to guide me on this journey.
