Jessica Silva '13 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since the 6th grade. Ever since I started playing basketball it has been my dream to continue playing after high school.  I have always wanted to play basketball at the college level.  My basketball team and coaches are very important to me and are like family to me.  Along with playing basketball, I have also been able to coach younger levels.  I enjoyed coaching the younger levels when I got the chance.  My Junior year of high school was the first year my school won the CCC in my area.  I enjoy being a role model for the younger basketball players. Every chance i get to get in the gym, i take it. I love having a basketball in my hands and love to shoot. I also love defense and love to pick up my man at half court if we are not pressing. I always put pressure on the ball and never slack off. After my basketball career, i would like to become an athletic trainer/medicine.
