Cherokee Davis '15 Recruiting Profile

I love playing defense. Diving for any loose balls is my all time favorite. I have learned the only thing that carries a team through the pain is the heart and the love for the game. It all starts with great defense, I'll work hard on defense to see those points on the board rack up in easy fast break opportunities.  I never get back at the opposing team by violence or attitude the best way is to smile and make them pay for it on the other end of the court. In my mind nobody can stop me. I never let my emotions get the best of me. My defender tries 10X harder to stop me I must try 100X harder, no weakness. Play till that final buzzer goes off. I want no regrets when I walk off the court.

As a student I am very bright. Love asking the question "why?" makes me think outside of the box. Critical thinking is what I love to do. I receive A's and B's. Make some sort of a relationship with my professors to let them know I care about my grades. Fairly quiet student in class.  Lots of thinking in my head and keep thoughts to myself unless called upon by a professor.  My hopes and dreams are to major in  sociology and minor in criminology.
