2016 SkillsPersonal Statement
My ultimate softball goal has always been to play at a collegiate level. Hard work, dedication, and many long practices have gotten me to where I am today. After multiple seasons batting right-handed in the .350 to .380 range, I wanted to take advantage of my speed by learning to be a slapper. I worked very hard to become an effective left-handed slapper in the past year, and in doing so, I have boosted my batting average to over .510. I not only work hard in relation to softball, but I also give it my best in the classroom. I push myself, along with my teammates to always give 110%. If there is something I need to improve on, I like to know what it is so I can work, and try to perfect it. I believe if you are not going to give it your all, then your heart isn't truly in it.
