Personal Statement

I have many goals throughout my high school and club team careers that could build up to me being a stellar college player.  I hope that by the end of my season I will have my batting average improve by going to see a hitting coach and working more on the off season.  I would like to improve it from a .400 to a .450.  I have played softball since I was in 4th grade, I started with my recreational league in Cudahy known as the C.S.F.L.B.A (Cudahy St.Francis Little Baseball Association) and continued on to join the Milwaukee Invaders when I was 11 years old, later when I was 13 I joined the Waukesha Firebirds.  In my last year of elligability for 14U I moved up to 16U.  Now as I reach my 7th year of club softball I am proud to become a member of the Wisconsin Twisters with Callie Mikolajczykc.  In my first year of high school I made varsity as a freshman and received conference honorable mention for utility player.  In my second year of being a starting varsity player for my high school, St.Francis High, we made history for our school and won our division for the regional championship.  My sophomore year I caught every game for the varsity team.  As I get older I realize that I am not the same as some of the girls I have played with.  I have much more of a drive and motivation to be there.  I have loved this game since I picked up a ball and I want nothing more than to improve my skills and continue on to a college level.  I have not played on extremely successful teams throughout my time as a player.  We've had our ups, but just as many if not more downs.  I am a loyal player and stayed with my teams for the benefit of the doubt, but I realize loyalty can only get you part of the way.  The Wisconsin Twisters are a very credible team and I hope to improve personally with this organization and have a solid team for my next two summers before college.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
