I am a good candidate for your team because I am fast, I run home to first in 2.9 seconds. I can also slap. When I hit, I can place the ball to any field, I am more of a contact hitter rather than a power hitter but I can get them over the fence. I play shortstop and third base as my back up positions, my primary position is catching. My fastest pop time is 1.7 but I usually stay around 1.73 - 1.75 I currently have a 3.1 GPA in school, I am a freshman in college prep classes. I take my school work very seriously, I understand that the most important part of college softball is grades and I am fully 100% willing to do everything I can to keep my grades up. My leadership skills are still progressing but I know what it takes to be a leader and I am maturing enough to be a leader. I am currently a 16 year old playing on an 18u travel team, during practice I work as hard as I can to improve because I am not going to let the fact that I am the youngest player on the team set me apart from how good everyone else is, I work almost every day to get better and perform up to their skill. What makes me different from other recruits is I refuse to take no for an answer. I am an extremely hard worker, once I have my mindset on something that I want to achieve I won't stop until I achieve it. I will watch college games and focus on how the elite players in the country play my positions.. Every time I achieve a new goal I set an even harder goal and work to achieve that. I can play multiple positions and in my opinion I play them well, I could play them better but I just have to keep practicing at it. I believe I am very athletic, I rode horses for a very long time, and I used to cheer before I played softball.
