Sports have always been a huge part of my life. For nine years, I played baseball with all the boys. When I got to middle school, I made the transition to softball. My second year of middle school, I played for a local travel softball team, Elkins Explosion. After an entire summer of softball, I knew I wanted to play college ball. Once in high school, I decided to drop volleyball so I could begin a weight lifting and conditioning program to help me excel in softball. My freshman year, I played varsity basketball and varsity softball. Also, I am part of the Under Armour Softball Factory National Team. I enjoy softball because it is a challenging game, and to be good at the sport requires knowledge, hard work, and dedication. Academics are also very important to me. I have a 4.0 GPA, and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I want to attend college and earn a degree in athletic training or possibly exercise science which will allow me to pursue a career in sports while helping others.
