Personal Statement

If you didn't know I'm Bailee ! I live in rainy Tacoma, WA but am very proud of it. I am about 5'5 and weigh 165. I go to Mount Tahoma class of 2013. I play for a club team called the NW WIldcats. I have earned Second Team All League as Catcher my Freshman and Sophomore Year. I also was MVP for my high school team both years. My sophomore year I was captain and earned All City Team of the Year as Catcher for Tacoma Weekly my sophomore year. If I could say my best qualities as a player they would be a driven STUDENT athlete, leader and good blocker behind the plate. I was starting varsity my Freshman and Sophomore year. I've set many goals in my life, but to play college ball is much more than a goal to me. It's a dream that I want so incredibly bad. An inspirational speaker once told me " The most important thing to you is the thing you think about the most and what you focus on the most." At that point I knew softball was the most important thing in my life. I think about playing college ball everyday of my life, everything I do is to work towards playing college ball. I'm the one person on my select team that is in the batting cages more than anyone else and will practice all day and all night to get better and better. I workout and hit on my own, I go into my garage and hit off my tee for hours, knowing it'll all pay off. I know some of my own family doubts me but I just want to prove them wrong because I know I have the leadership and drive to play for any college team out there. I would love to play at any college in the country and earn my spot to be a starter as catcher. I am captain for my school and select ball team and think I could be a great leader in college. But MOST OF ALL I want to play at a school that offers my major, I would love to be an Athletic Trainer or Physical Therepist. Softball is something I've worked so hard for, everyday when I feel like giving up or think something is to hard(school, softball etc.) I just look at all the goals I've written down and become focused on that. I spend all my time on school and on softball, because I believe in myself and want it so bad. My parents have spent so much money that they don't have on me to play softball and I just want to make them proud. I will need financial help so I will be applying for FAFSA. If your a college coach who is looking for a catcher, a great blocker behind the plate, a leader, a player who will stay an hour after practice to run, field or hit, a player who will work out on there own, a player who has the desire to win, and a player who is out there for the love of the game, then find Bailee Larson.
"I want to be all that I am capable of becoming."-Katherine Mansfield

"When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe...then you'll be successful."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
