Sidney Pollard Fa...Personal Statement
I was born into the farm lifestyle and have raised animals my whole life, which has taught me about commitment, sacrifice, and responsibility. When I was 7 years old I started playing sports. Softball was the first sport I played and I instantly fell in love with the game. At the age of 9 I started playing competitive travel ball. While playing sports I also competed on horses, where I won 2 state championships. A busy schedule like this taught me how to manage my time.
During high school I have been a 3 sport varsity athlete, which has taught me the most about teamwork. While being an athlete, I have also maintained a 3.8 GPA which I have worked very hard to earn. As for college, I know it will be a lot of hard work, but I look forward to the challenge and know I can be an asset to your team.
