Erika Ebe '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Erika Ebe. My softball career began back when I played T-ball at 3 or 4 years old. Now 17, I've played every year since and have fallen deeper in love with the game every day. I strive to give it everything I’ve got each time I practice or step onto the field.
I’m athletic and can play a variety of positions including third base, shortstop and anywhere in the outfield. I lead by example both on and off the field. I’m very competitive in everything I do and I’m not happy unless I leave knowing I gave 100%. I believe softball has taught me many valuable life lessons and  has given me countless friendships, which as led me to knowing I want to continue to improve as an individual as well as a teammate by playing softball collegiately.
Each day, I push myself not only as an athlete, but also as a student. I look to attend a competitive 4-year university and fulfill my ambitions to go into the medical field while playing fastpitch. As a senior, I’m taking honors and AP classes and have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I'm a student athletic trainer for my high school football team, which is a large time commitment and has taught me first-hand experience which can relate to the medical field. I love to help people and I communicate well with others. I’m open to attend a university anywhere in the US that fits my needs as a dedicated and involved student athlete.
