Hannah Thomas '18 Recruiting Profile

I've been on the field since age 5. Softball has always been my passion.  When I lost my mom at age 11 to colon cancer, it became my outlet to grieve my loss. It was through that experience that I discovered my drive to excel and my desire to play at a higher level.  Ever since, I've been blessed to be trained by some of the best coaches in the Northern Virginia area.  Coaches have shared that I'm a coachable and respectful team player. My passion has deepened to include dropping my off-season sport (basketball) to focus on softball exclusively. It's my ultimate goal to play DI or DII college softball. I desire to be a player that's remembered not just for my skills, but also for my actions on and off the field.  I give 100% all the time and hustle on and off the field. I'm tenacious in my studies and view my education as a priority. 
In college, I'm interested in majoring in Athletic Training, Sports Management or Coaching. Ever since I can remember, I've enjoyed working with my teammates to achieve their individual and team goals. Helping people accomplish challenging tasks, working with people to grow their weaknesses and making people feel welcome are some of my strengths.
