Cally Reding '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cally Reding and I am a 2019 right handed pitcher at Lampasas High School. I also play for Firecrackers 14U DFW (Texas) Gold. I believe that I have a lot to bring to the table with my high spirited out going attitude as well as my athletic skill. I am a junk pitcher with three change ups with different spins as well as great placements and movement with all the other pitches. Also, I have a very strong/smart offensive side of the game. I am able to see the gaps on the field and put the ball where it is needed so my team can score runs, whether it be taking the ball opposite field to score the runners that are in scoring position, dropping a sacrifice bunt, or hitting a line drive in the gap so there will be more base runners on. When I am not playing on the field I will be studying my opponents to cover the mental part of the game as well as cheering on my team. So far, this season we have played in the power pool or premier brackets in five different nationals and brought home a national title from TCS New York.  For more information, check the write ups in the press section of my profile.  I am looking forward to adding new articles as I start my journey on the 16U gold team to my profile as the seasons go on.
