I first started out with baseball for a couple of years from 7-9 years old, and my baseball coach suggested that I try out for softball with all the girls and I did. That's when the love for the game began to grow. I was recently on a team that I lost my coach to a sudden death. He was the one who made me who I am today, with the fire and the want to win every game. It was hard and it is still hard today, but I have something to play for. I have something to wake up to each morning, knowing that I am playing for him. All the credit goes to my coach. I lost the fire that I had for a couple of months, but I finally found it with the Texas Bombers. I have more swagger than I've ever had and my fire and the love for this game is contagious.
In college, I want to play softball, but also my goal is to get my bachelor's or associate's degree and pursue in Neonatal nursing. I have a down to earth heart but I am also very competitive in everything I do. Whether it's getting the highest test grade in my class, or out working another player. I strive to be the best player there is. That's who I am.
