My main personal goal going into college is to better myself with everything I do, no matter if it's doing something as simple as helping somebody or playing on the softball field. I've always loved helping other people. It's just something I feel like I was made to do. That's why I want to get into the healthcare field. I love working with people, and just talking with people. I would especially consider myself to be a great listener. I really love helping my teammates in softball whenever they need something. Any chance I have to help my friends out I will. When it comes to sports I am extremely competitive. When I'm on the field, I am zoned in and ready to go and I feel like nothing could ever get in my way. I love being involved in every play, I guess that's why I became a catcher. When I'm catching it's like nobody can stop me, it's like I'm on cloud nine. It makes me so happy. When I throw a runner out it's like the icing on the cake for me. It just sends me over the edge and gets me even more pumped up. Academically I always try to do as good as I can. I take AP classes to challenge my abilities, and all other classes are honors or pre-AP. My parents have always taught me and drove into my head that school always comes first. If I were to fail a class, I would be devastated. For me it would mean that I let my team down, and that is one of the worst feelings I could ever imagine.
