Katie Munoz 2020 ...Personal Statement
I image my college years to be a personal and educational growth period. My goal is to graduate from High School, go to College and play softball at a higher level of competition while earning my degree. I am undecided on my Major however I want to study Criminology or Zoology, Animal Science/Biology or Ecology, Marine Biology, Oceanology.
On the field, I will be a leader, bring a positive influence to the team and be an explosive player. I will be an asset to the outfield with my speed and I will be competitive at the plate. I am a left handed hitter and I can bunt, drag bunt, slap and hit. My biggest strength to being to the team would be my speed/agility and I am a coachable athlete. I am looked up to as a leader on my travel ball team and my high school team.
Off the field, I study hard and strive to maintain my grades. I try to volunteer as much as I can and I am a member of several groups in high school.
My behavior and attitude reflects who I am as a person, student and a player. I will portray honor and respect for my College, my coaches, teammates, parents and myself on and off the field.
When the time comes to choose a College, I am keeping an open mind to all Divisions and pray to find a great match that fits me. I want a College where I can earn my Degree and play softball. Knowing I am able to play softball encourages me to work harder, practice smarter and learn new skills.
