Haylee Payne '10 Recruiting Profile

My freshman year at McCallum High School, I started on varsity in right field. I batted over .300 and won Honorable Mention in the 17-4A district. My Sophomore year I started in left field and batted over .400 and won Honorable Mention again. My Junior year I started in Center field and batted .412 in season and over .480 over all. I won the most stolen bases award out of everyone in the 17-4A district with 35 stolen bases and won First Team All-District. My senior year I will be starting at Short-stop and I am this years Head team captain. I am looking at staying in Texas and goin to either a DI, DII, or DIII school. I am pretty open to any school type and I am willing to look into any school and check out their education programs. I plan on majoring in Math and getting a Teachers certification so I can teach Math at either high school or middle school levels. It has always been my dream to be a student athlete all through high-school and to continue to be one in college.
