My name is Rosie and I was born to play softball. I've been playing softball for as long as I can remember, and I plan to play for as long as I can. My top reason to go to college is to get the best education to set my life on the right track. I also plan on playing softball in college, because I know that it is the next level and most likely my last level of success to achieve in my softball career. As far as being a team player, I will do anything to help the team win. I play to the best of my abilities every time I step on the field. There is no I in TEAM. You have to love the game, your team, hard work, and competition. If you put your heart in those aspects of softball, winning takes care of itself. I'll bring excitement to the field and the love of the game with me.
I have been raised in a family of Division I athletes, so I understand the work ethic involved with balancing academics and athletics. I also understand the quality and dedication a college athlete has to demonstrate. My father is a helicopter pilot for the United States Army so I understand loyalty, teamwork, and how to endure long periods of time away from family. I am a good candidate for a competitive college softball program because: I am talented, I work hard, I am passionate, I am competitive, I am smart, I have good genes, I have good family support, I am mature, I am responsible, I know what I want.
