Emily Miller '17 Recruiting Profile

I started playing softball when I was five years old, and ever since then I have wanted to be the best player I can be. I have always aspired to play at the collegiate level. I have always known this will take a lot of work, but I am willing to work as hard as I need to and even beyond.

I always listen to my coaches and have been told on multiple occasions that I am very coachable. I know that I will not always be the best player on the field, but I can be the player who hustles the most and works the hardest.

When it comes to my schoolwork, I take my studies seriously. I am a distinguished honors student and work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I volunteer a lot with my church at the Salvation Army and other church functions.

I would like to find a college where I can not only be competitive on the field but also n the classroom. I always play for my team, and I will do whatever is best for the team.
