Personal Statement

I have completed my freshman year at William Penn University, I am looking to transfer and find a better fit for me. I love the game and I am looking to continue to play in college. I do not want to give up or quit the goal that I have always wanted to achieve. I want to keep the success in the classroom and on the ball field. I am still very passionate about the game and just looking for another opportunity. I will always be a student before athlete so I want a place where I can have the appropriate help with academics but also at the same time getting the best softball skills and keep growing as an athlete. The academics in my profile are from high school, and they have improved since having one year of college under my belt. My GPA has gone from a 3.1 finishing high school to a 3.357 in my first year of college. I am looking to continue to raise it and be even more successful.

I had a great tournament in Pasco. I was 10 for 14 for the 3 days. I made some great plays at first. I pitched a bit and even got to play shortstop and made two good plays there. I met alot of great college coaches and players. It was a great experience and I cant wait for more opportunities to showcase my skills.

Fastpitch NW Championship Tourney
7/22/14 to 7/24/14
I am going to be participating in the tourney that starts on July 22nd. I will play mainly 1st base as this is the position I feel I am very strong at for the college level. We have 5 games over the few days. I am very excited. My first game is on Tues at 2pm field 3. Wednesday my first game is at 9am field 3, 1pm field 6 and 3pm field 9. Thursday 10am field 4. Hope to see you there. My team is the Falcons Light Pink jerseys.

I had a great time picking up with the Silverton Foxes. I hit my second homerun of the summer season on Saturday. I pitched a game plus an inning. Did well. I also hit well and had several rbis. Overall it was a fun tourney.

My Eugene Thunder team and I won our bracket championship. I pitched 2 complete games. I also hit a HR and was like 8 for 11 hitting for the weekend. I pitched in the championship game and had 8 to 9 Ks. I also played 1st base and had several great plays and digs. Great weekend.

2014 Valley Invitational college exposure tournament

The weekend was a great success both for my team and myself. Eugene Thunder took 1st place in the 16A silver bracket. I had several doubles and singles as well as several rbi's. I made some great plays at first base as well and pitched good. We played 5 games on Sunday it was a great team effort. Looking forward to more great tournaments.

Great weekend at the tourney. I hit really well and played first base and made a couple double plays. My team took 2nd place. We were playing against alot of 18U. The final game was the championship game against an 18u team.

This clinic had several stations. We worked on pitching and hitting and also did some conditioning and learned the importance of good healthy eating and working out to enhance our softball perfomance. There were several coaches as well as players from several universities. I took alot of great info from this camp as well.

These were great clinics with alot of one on one coaching with the pitching coach from the U of O. I learned several key fundamentals as well as ways to increase my speed. We also did some hitting drills. I loved this clinic.

This was the best experience in my softball career yet. I pitched alot made some outstanding plays at first base and I hit the ball very well over the week. Made new friends from other teams. Bonded more with my team at the time. Very great and motivating for me. Cant wait to go to more like this.
