Kaylee Schaffer '15 Recruiting Profile

My life has been consumed by sports since I was young. My goal has always been to play college ball. Since I was young I have worked on my skills to set me up for college. I am a universal player, a switch hitter, and I understand and push for team unity. I am different then many others because, although sports may be my life, I  have dedicated myself to academics, also. I have always pushed myself to do better in school and in everything I do. I am contently pushing myself to the next level of intensity. I have maintained a high GPA, even with my AP level classes and playing sports, sometimes multiple sports at a time. My character consists of leadership qualities and a helpful attitude. I always try to push others and encourage them to succeed in what they do and give them helpful advice. In my athletics, I am always forcing myself to surpass peoples expectations and strive to be the best I can be, and never settle for less. I believe that people don't just get handed things in life, that they have to have hard work and dedication in order to succeed.
