Paige Leeper '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paige Leeper and I am a 5'7" Senior shortstop/utility infielder. As a Freshman, Sophomore and Junior I started in the infield playing shortstop and third my Freshman year. All 3 years I have received All-State honors and 1st Team All Conference infielder. As a student, I pride myself in maintaining a 3.82 GPA while taking AP courses. I am also the Senior Class President at my high school and actively participate in community service along with National Junior Honor Society. One of my many high school goals is to graduate in the Top 10 of my class. In college, my goal is to graduate with honors in my preferred major.  My family and I have moved repeatedly for my Father's job and it has taught me how to be a well rounded, positive and adaptive person. Playing softball has taught me how to be a positive influence, helpful teammate and a leader. Through my many years of playing softball, I have discovered how important it is to not only be a part of a team, but to be a teammate as well. I am a natural-born leader in and outside of softball and it shows whether I'm leading my team or holding class meetings in school. I am a very personable and positive individual which has made it easy to adapt to many different surroundings and people. I am a dedicated student athlete and will be a true asset to any program I attend.
