My name is Schylar Saige Najera, I am a senior at Davenport High School. I have a 3.6 GPA maintaining good grades are something I have always strived for. I have been playing softball since I was six years old. I played up on the 8 and under team for quite some time. At first they thought I was permanently right handed, but I couldnt hit the ball to save my life. It turns out I am a left handed hitter and throw the ball right handed All throughout little league and middle school I played shortstop. In high school I started varsity left field my freshman and sophomore year at Stroud High School. My junior year I transferred to Davenport and started 2nd base after my hardship was accepted I continue to play there now. What makes me different from other candidates is that I strive for excellence; I work to my best ability to do the best that I can; always looking to make an improvement. I hope to attend college and receive a degree in history.
