Kailen Clemmer '12 Recruiting Profile

I would describe myself as well-rounded - intelligent, athletic, and social. I just love playing softball. Although I play basketball too, I can't wait for the season to start and am always very sad when it ends. On days I don't have practice, I hit in my barn (I live in the country) where we have an indoor batting cage. I have been playing since I was 10 years old on traveling teams. I play catcher usually, but I also love third base and short stop. I am 5'6" and weigh around 150 lbs. My dream would be to play catcher for the OK State Cowgirls, but my goals is to just play college softball after I graduate. I prefer the SW part of the United States Right now, I believe I would like to apply to Physical Therapy school. I have a 4.0 and am ranked in the top 10% of my junior class. My most exciting time was playing in the state HS Softball Playoffs as a Freshman and seeing my name in center field at the Softball Hall of Fame Stadium as I stepped up to bat.
