I am a hard working team leader who believes that you should never give up. Ever since I was twelve I've wanted to play at the highest level of softball and to make a positive statement on and off the field. I am hoping to get to the level where I not only impact my own team, but also any competitor that I may face. Academics are very important to me so I am carrying all honors for my core classes and am taking AP classes as well. I have made varsity all three years of high school and am the starting catcher at my High School. I have been playing in higher age groups since 12U and have been on travel teams since I was 9. I am 5'4" and about 130lbs, I'm small but very fast and strong. I'm a quick aggressive base runner with times to first at 2.9 seconds and my pop time is under 1.8 seconds, although I am continuing to work on decreasing both those times. I am looking for a school with high academic standards as well as a great softball program. I would like to go to a school with a good animal biology or zoology program because my goal is to have a career working with animals. I am the youngest of 4 and have a very close family.
