Gabriela Bennett '15 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

This 2014 season I was named, for the second year in a row, to the All Colonial Valley Conference First Team and All Area Second Team, reached the 100 hits milestone as a junior, and was honored as my high school's Softball Player of the Year.  Academically, I was recently inducted into the National Honor Society.  I am a very determined, disciplined, and hard working player and student.  I love to play softball and have set other goals for myself before I graduate in 2015.  Even though I have also played 3 years of varsity basketball and tennis (and really enjoy playing), I am happiest when I'm on a softball field. 

I am looking for a college, which offers degrees in education, and where I can play softball at a high level.  My desire is to be a teacher and coach.  I really enjoy working with children and will be a Peer Leader to the freshman class in my senior year.  I am also involved in volunteering at my high school's summer basketball camp for girls and working at the Princeton Tennis Program's summer tennis camp.  I'm excited about my future and equally as excited to give back to my community and help develop children in academics and athletics. 

Playing three varsity sports and maintaining a high GPA, I think I would be a great candidate for a college softball team.  I would love to play on a team in which I have the opportunity to prove myself and make a difference.
