Hi, my name is Maxibel and I would like to introduce myself. I am 17 years old and am a junior at Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology. I have achieved getting Scholars (4.0 GPA or higher) my freshman year of high school and managed to make the varsity team and be the starting pitcher. I received the 2015 All-Conference Award 2nd team and the 2015 All-County Honorable Mention Award.
Outside of softball, I played bowling for my high school team as my winter sport. I started out on the JV team, and two weeks into the season the coach offered me to join the varsity team. From there I finished the rest of the season on the varsity team and at the end of the season received the 2014/2015 All-County Honorable Mention Award. This was the first time I had ever played bowling, but I plan to continue on the team the rest of my high school years. I believe that the reason that I was successful in bowling is because whenever I start something, I give it my all. Since the first time I ever pitched a softball, at the age of 9 years old it has been my dream to be one of the girls to achieve to play in the Women's College World Series. So, when I am successful enough to be recruited into the collegiate level, I know that there will be no greater drive for me than to help my teammates get to play and win a WCWS.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me.
