Hello, my name is Ali Walek. Just to tell you a little information about myself, I am 5'4" and weigh 140 lbs. Softball has been in my blood since I played T-ball when I was little. I played on my middle school team 6th-8th grade and was captain 8th grade year. I have lettered all three years so far in high school. I made varsity my freshman year and got to start at 3rd and pitch a few games, and batted 4th in the line up for a part of the season. My sophomore year I was starting pitcher. Even though the team all together did not have an amazing season I felt I tried my hardest and did the best I could at all times. I received coach's award at the end of the season. My junior year I have been starting pitcher and batting cleanup. I also play for North Jersey Avalanche. I train all year round and have a two week break all year at the most. I am a hard worker and always strive to achieve more. I hope to be able to play softball at the college level at D-III level. Any schools that offer my major I am interested in, psychology, on the Eastern region I am open to. My goal at the college level is to be able to start my freshman year. I will be willing to play any open position necessary that the coach needs me at.
