Personal Statement

I believe that in life to get what you want and to succeed you have to try your best and give 150%. If you do not try then nothing will happen by itself.  Playing softball and schoolwork is my job. I treat softball and school as my job because I know that everyday I have to work hard and practice to become better and get the grades that I want to. My goals in high school were and still are to be on the varsity softball team freshman-senior starting and be on distinguished honor roll every marking period, every year. So far I have fufilled my goals and dreams. After high school I want to go to college, play softball in college, and become what I want. When I finish college I would like to become some kind of doctor because I love to help people. One of my dreams is to be remembered for helping people and saving people's lives. People tell me that it's so hard to become a doctor and that it  takes many years of college. But I just remember this quote; "believe you can and you're halfway there." This quote means so much and could help anyone with anything. Even in softball if I'm having a bad game and I get up to the plate I can't think negative or else I will indeed strikeout, so I believe in myself and say "I am going to get a hit" or "I'm going to score this run no matter what it takes." When you put yourself down you are only going to get failure . You can only succeed optimistically. When I was little I only dreamed of being on being on such a kind, encouraging, caring, and considerate team. The kind of team where your teammates help you up when you are down and tell you to forget about your mistakes and don't get mad at you for messing up.  Everyone makes mistakes. I love being apart of a team and cheering my teammates on. My goal is to be that teammate that helps everyone and lifts them up when they are having a bad day.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
