Kylie Sondermann '16 Recruiting Profile

I just completed my junior year of high school. I love to compete and play sports. Being an athlete is part of who I am. I am a very hard worker and am not afraid to put in the time it takes to play at a competitive level. I have played softball and football since the 1st grade and understand the commitment it takes to play (especially after putting in 2 a day practices for football in the roasting August weather, not to mention the freezing spring weather softball practices bring).

I have been the starting shortstop on our High School Varsity Softball team since my freshman year and last year I earned a 1st team All-League Infielder Award and All State Academic Team Award. This year my statistics were even better and I earned a spot on the Division III All-State Team and 1st team All-League, I also received the our team's Outstanding Player of the Year award.  During the winter months I play on our High School Basketball team as well. Playing sports and being active is just a part of everyday life for me.

In addition to sports, I am also very capable and willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get good grades in the classroom. I am very self-motivated when it comes to my studies and I have completed many dual credit college classes. I look forward to attending a college that offers a degree in Pre-Med.
