Hi! My name is Haevyn Hug. I am a 5'6'' junior from Auburn, Nebraska. I attend Auburn High School and will graduate in 2013. I have played two years of high school varsity softball and am honored to receive awards such as Offensive Player of the Year (2010 & 2011) and MVP (2011) and All-State Honorable Mention for the Lincoln Journal Star. During the past two seasons, I was a varsity starter as well as team captain. I have strong leadership skills on and off the field,
I also play for a highly successful club team (Nebraska Nemesis 95 - Lincoln, Nebraska) for the past 6 years, qualifying for State and National tournaments. My primary position is Centerfield, but I am also very experienced in playing in Left Field, Shortstop & 3rd Base.
I have a strong work ethic and an intense desire to continue playing softball at the collegiate level. I have dedicated myself to this sport by putting in extra training hours outside of regular practice. I am interested in attending a moderate sized school that has a welcoming atmosphere which will allow me to obtain a college degree.
