Personal Statement

I love to play softball because for me it where I excel and feel I fit in and from that feeling I want every kid in their life to find that one thing they love more than anything. Softball not only gives me that opportunity but also has given me what I want to major in and hopefully my job in the future doing social work with kids. For me softball is my escape, the one thing I can’t lose in life.

On Saturday, we went 2-1 which placed us as the #1 seed from our pool. We then won our first game Sunday to move to the Gold pool. After that we won 2 more games to get to the championship where we lost 4-0 to the Xtreme 97 who was the regional champ in summer ball. A real good tournament for our team, CHS/Westside. Overall for the tournament I pitched a team leading 0.933 ERA and did not lose a game. I batted .368 and tied for the high RBI total with 7. Our team is going back to Spokane for another tournament on October 3-4.
