Maeve McDonough '19 Recruiting Profile

I come from a very athletic family.  My parents are very supportive in my choices and have made it possible for me to take steps towards my goal to play college softball.  My older sister was very highly recruited and now plays at IU.  My oldest brother played baseball at Arkansas Tech, and after graduating is now in the US Army, 82nd Airborne.  My other brother will be attending MO S&T and will play baseball while getting his engineering degree.  I am looking for the right fit for me to play college softball and with the experience in recruiting we have as a family I feel we will be able to find my school.   My parents have also gone out of their way to send all of us to private high schools which has made it much simpler for my older family members to tackle the academic burden of college.  Notre Dame High School is a college prep school and has allowed my older sister to have the highest GPA on her IU team and is a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.  I get very good grades at Notre Dame and will also be ready for the academic burdens of college.
