Taylor Daas '11 Recruiting Profile

All I know for certain is that I have a love for the game like no other. It's something that keeps me motivated, and a hunger for wanting more. I know I will always give my best out on the field no matter what role I play out on the field. To be part of a team that has the same passion as I have would mean more than anything to me. I am looking forward to getting a great education along with playing ball. I've only been playing softball for just over a year now. I played baseball until my sophomore year in High School. I've played at the highest level from when I was 7yrs old until I finished with my 15yr AAA traveling team. I switched to softball spring of 2009. Switching was not as easy as you would think it would be. The fielding was a piece of cake but it took me about half of the varsity season last year to get the hitting part of the game. Finishing strong last year in our Sections, hitting over .450 in the tournament. Making the switch was worth it, I've enjoyed bringing what I learned on the baseball field onto the softball field. This game intreagues me and I have learned alot very quickly and have much more to learn.
