Kelly Ducharme '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kelly DuCharme and I am in the graduating class of 2012 at South Haven High School located in Southwest Michigan. Everyone is born with a gift, my happens to be in athletics. In order to pursue my childhood dream I know I have to work hard! During my softball off season, I like to stay active by participating in other sports. I play varsity softball, volleyball and bowling. Also, I am on a travel fastpitch team and a club volleyball team. I've been playing softball for 11 years now and 9 of those years have been travel. In high school ball, I received All-Conference Honorable Mention and All-District Enlarged for catching. I can play any position on the softball diamond that my coach wants and I will give 110% all of the time. I am the type of athletic that gets along with everyone, has hustle and desire, lays everything on the line and is dedicated. I care about my academics as much as my sports and it is really important for me to get into a school with the major I really want to pursue. At this moment I would like to go into Pediatric Nursing or Elementary Education. I will not be picky on the location of the school but since I live in a northern state I came to find that I like sun much better than snow. My goal is to make an impact on a team and play at the highest competition level as my abilities will take me. I want to keep on learning and carry out my childhood dream as a collegiate level softball player.
