Rian Hornung '20 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing softball for as long as I can remember and I’ve always loved being part of a team. I’m a very hardworking individual and I will work my hardest on the field, in the classroom, and in the gym.   Because of my work ethic my skill level has elevated to an advanced stage. I also am a team leader as I support and care for my teammates.  I feel I can be a very valuable member to a collegiate team, and I will represent the college proudly on the field and in the community. 

I will continue to work in the classroom while in high school to improve my gpa, I embrace the challenge.

On the field, I put in a tremendous amount of time, not just during the season, but in the offseason.  My stats show I am an accomplished hitter, but I am never satisfied, I want to push myself to be better.

My values are based on my faith in God. I am a determined, hardworking teammate. I feel this can translate to a good fit for many programs.
