Playing college level softball has always been a dream of mine. From swinging the bat for the first time on the field when I was five to becoming a starter on my high school team I have fallen in love with the sport of softball over and over again. I am a very committed, hard worker who is willing to always go the extra mile to improve skills on and off the field. Softball helps me grow as a person every single day. It shows me new leadership skills as well as teamwork skills. When I first played softball my freshmen year as starting catcher I was very shy and quiet. I barely called out plays and the outfield could never hear me. Since then softball has helped me open up and feel more comfortable around people in new situations. Softball has driven me to keep my grades up and make good decisions that will benefit me for the better in the long run.
I am looking for a college that offers Culinary Arts as well as softball. I would like the college that I attend to have a positive atmosphere as well as opportunities to get involved with the community. I have always enjoyed the game and the intensity that comes with it. When I go to play college ball I am looking for a team that bonds closely together with other players as well as the coaches. I am wanting a team that has a positive attitude whether we win or lose and is there to pick their teammates up when something goes wrong. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing what your school and team has to offer.
Thank you,
Victoria Trudell
