I have been playing softball ever since I was running around the bases with boys playing t-ball and I want to continue my game into college! I have tried out for the high school varsity team both freshman and sophomore year, although I did not make it I was on JV. This set back to me playing where I wanted has made me value leadership and made me realize I need to step it up. When I started on JV, I did not have a lot of faith in my team, but they proved me wrong. We are like a family and we have a lot of fun at practices. Having fun is important too but we also have had a winning seasons with much improvement.
Making varsity my Junior year is my goal for high school; I will not give up! Also I am determined to make my dream of playing college softball a reality in the up coming years. I have learned through softball that you cannot give up and you just have to wait for your time to shine.
