Marissa VanDenBerg '16 Recruiting Profile

I am very passionate about softball. I work really hard with a great attitude during games. It is a talent that I have been given. I would really like to play in collage because I have always wanted to be a professional. I know that some people don't get that chance and I don't know I if will, but I work hard any ways. I am sometimes called the team mom because I keep everyone in order and I like to be a team leader. I enjoy playing the game, but I can be very competitive. I am a loud person and I love to scream for my team mates. Not many people like to stand by me when we cheer. What can I say? it is so much fun even if I am on the field or sitting on the bench. I work hard at what I do and will always love to play, even if we lose or win. I have sat through injuries too. My sophomore year, I struggled through an elbow problem, and a shoulder problem. I still enjoyed being on the bench yelling situations, encouraging my teammates and being a strong part of the team. I don't care where I play, maybe even the bench, but I will still be there in every aspect to support my team.
