Personal Statement
I have always wanted to play softball at the college level and get a quality education. I always have enjoyed being apart of a team. Teammates become people you spend a lot of your free-time with, and they become more than friends. They become someone you can depend upon. I want to be that teammate. One of my favorite quotes is in the Bible and from the movie When the Game Stands Tall, and it states: Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." To me personally, this means that the effort you are willing to put into getting better and playing the game, will result in more games won and more hard work that will definitely show/pay off.
