My name is Alyssa Dillan and I am currently enrolled at Plymouth South High School in Plymouth, Massachusetts. I started my career in baseball but at the age of 9, I moved on to play softball. I have been an honors student all of my life and as a Senior in high school i am currently enrolled in AP and honors level courses. In college, I would love to continue my career in softball. Ever since I was young my dream was to play softball in college. I have been captain of my summer teams every year that I have played, which shows that I am capable of handling leadership responsibilities. I know that there is always room for improvement, so I am open to critiques. I work very well with other members of a team, and I am a responsible person on and off the field. Some of the things I am involved in off of the field include: "Interact," a community service club in which does activities such as feeding the homeless, and volunteering at other events around the community. I also volunteer at my mother's work, Community Systems Inc. which is a non-profit organization that assists people with developmental disabilites with struggles they endure in everyday life. I believe that I am a good candidate because I can balance schoolwork and my sport, I am a hardworker on and off of the field, and because I am responsible, generous, and a good leader.
