Kelly Madigan 201...Personal Statement
My name is Kelly Madigan and I am a 5'8" sophomore left handed pitcher from North Dighton,MA and play on the Dighton/Rehobeth Regional HS softball team. I am currently a LHP/1B on the NE Phoenix Gold travel team and I also have 6 years of class A travel softball on the Mass Xplosion as a pitcher, 1st baseman and was a captain on that team for the last 5 years. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA taking honors classes in Spanish,Psychology, and History. I played field hockey my freshman and sophmore year and lettered last year on the varsity basketball team.This year I ran and threw shot put in winter track to help with my speed and strength.
I am looking for a medium to larger sized school with the option to achieve a degree in communication disorders/Speech Pathology or Special Education as well as pursuing my passion to be a college softball player. Open to exploring opportunities in DI and DII level of play and college located anywhere but financial support is also important to me. Playing at the highest level is my goal and l look forward to making an impact on the team as soon as possible.
