Hello. My name is Jordan Sheppard and I have a passion for playing softball. I have played for 6 years and have fallen in love with the sport. I love to catch, but I also enjoy the outfield and am a utility player. I have been a three year starter on the varsity team at Northwest High School in Germantown, MD with one more years to go. I have helped lead our team to the play-offs every year. My junior year (2012-2013), my high school softball team became Region Champs, but we lost in semi-states. This was farthest that the team has gotten in several seasons. Outside of school, I am part of the 16U Germantown Titans Fastpitch Softball team where I have improved my skills greatly. With the Titans, we have won various tournaments and competed in the USSSA Nationals held at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL. Here we placed 13th out of 66 teams in 2011 and 7th in 2012 and 2013. My dream for softball is to play at the collegiate level on a team where I can reach my full potential. The size of the college and its location are not a major factor to me, I would just like to attend a school where I can show my competitive edge in softball.
