Jordan Fielder '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jordan Fielder.  I attend Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana and will graduate in May of 2016.  I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old.  My parents were both college athlete’s and have always taught me that if I want something bad enough then I have to work hard and dedicate myself to accomplishing it.  I have grown up watching the women’s college teams play on television, and there is nothing I want more than to play college softball.
 
On the softball field, I strive to lead by example.  I always try to exceed my coach’s expectations of me by going above and beyond whatever they ask me to do.  When I experience failure, it motivates me to do better next time.   I am upbeat and always try to encourage my teammates. 
 
I also believe that it is important to remain balanced.   I study hard and make good grades.  I am involved in several school organizations and extracurricular activities; but above all I am a Christian and owe God all the glory for the accomplishments he has allowed me to enjoy.

I want to play softball for a college where I can contribute both on and off the softball field, while earning a degree that will make me marketable and self-sufficient.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
